Sharon Packing has been locally owned and operated by the Mogg family since 1970.  Starting with 2 drivers and one warehouse employee the business grew to 5 drivers and 3 warehouse employees by 1980 .  At that time, the company's first USDA plant, Middlesex Sausage, was purchased for manufacturing.  In 1982, the company moved to the former Dock Street facility of Shenango Provision, which had built a new warehouse in Farrell.  Operations continued in that location for 9 years.

In 1991, increase in growth resulted in another move. The company relocated to its larger location on Broadway Avenue in Farrell.  Between 1985 and 1991 the company acquired Wingmaster Sauces and began production of those sauces as well as sauces for many area restaurants and pizza shops.  In 2000,  Wilson Foods and Castle Brand Meats were acquired, adding those customers to our growing base as well as retaining some of their employees.  The companies most recent growth includes the purchase of the former Leali Brothers in Hermitage in 2003, allowing the move of the manufacturing plant to that location.

What began as a one-man business is now an operation of over 40 employees with both warehouse and manufacturing facilities and distribution service to three states.
